Dr. Piergiovanni Santini

Piergiovanni is an IT engineer with many years of experience in finance and banking IT. He has worked as a freelance contractor for several major banks and was involved in the development of a foreign exchange and commodities platform for institutional trading at a major bank.

Piergiovanni graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan with a Master’s degree in computer science. He worked on high-performance software for rendering virtual 3D environments and eventually discovered the world of finance, where performance is everything. Piergiovanni was fascinated in the interaction between mathematics and programming, especially in the context of developing automated trading algorithms, and he began to develop and research his own algorithmic trading projects.

After more than ten years of study and research, he succeeded in designing and developing a customised trading platform that implements several systems capable of operating in real markets with real money accounts, a crowning achievement to add to an impressive track record based on a solid understanding of market mechanics and trading logic. Piergiovanni is responsible for IT and, in addition to further developing the trading software, heads the algorithm trading department at the “FiducInvest Group”, constantly looking for performance improvements and optimisations for the platform algorithms.

Piergiovanni is the designated managing director of the subsidiary “FI TechLabs”, which is currently being founded, and is looking for suitable experts and employees for this company.
